We think of Waterville Community Church as a learning community; something like a spiritual vocational school where the focus is learning love.  We focus on learning love because we believe Jesus revealed that God IS love (1 Jn. 4:8 & 16).  We think Christian spirituality is about becoming more like God, and if God IS love, Christian spirituality is about growing in love; learning to love one another the way God loves us (Jn. 13:34, 15:12).  We focus on learning because the process of spiritual growth is never-ending.  Because God IS love we embrace that Jesus IS Lord.  Jesus invites us to follow him.  Following is dynamic and that means there is always something for us to learn and some way for us to grow.
