Dana Rae Keim – Executive Arranger
Primary responsibilities --
Systems developer and translator, team designer, and staff & leadership coordinator; lovingly (I hope) referred to as the CA (church administrator), taskmaster, and director of miscellaneous.
History --
Born 10.22.68; I’m a home girl; grew up in the country- to get to my house you had to go to Waterville, take a right, and drive to the middle of nowhere; by the way, it’s true, you can take the girl out of the country but you can’t take the country out of the girl-actually in my case, you can’t really take the girl out of the country either, unless it’s for a something like a shopping spree or a nice dinner out!
Current Events --
Met my husband Jeff in 1990 when I was out with my girlfriends chatting about how we might be better off without men-come on girls you know what I’m saying, we all think it at times, God forgive us-anyway, I eventually gave him the right (as opposed to the wrong) phone number, we went out and we’ve been together ever since; we have two awesome boys, Seth & Noah; it’s been said that I talk a lot but not nearly as much as my husband (he’s a fast talking auctioneer) and nowhere near as much as Seth; he is a very bright boy and if you need to be convinced just ask him; Noah is just as bright but not nearly as quick to admit it; he’s the comedian in the family and keeps us all from being too serious, (as if!); the testosterone in our home runs high but all of the boys have learned that there are just times when you don’t mess with mama and her chocolate.
From there to here --
Basically, it was a God-thing as most things are; I was minding my own business, teaching at Lourdes college, working at a local hospital when God decided it was time for something different and let me tell you they’re, I mean it’s different around here-in every sense of the word-you haven’t lived until you’ve been on a conference road trip with us; we have way too much fun; in my previous (and sometimes concurrent) career as an Occupational Therapist I worked with people on what we called lifestyle redesign and here I get to help people in the ultimate lifestyle redesign through Jesus; how awesome is that?
